Kenyan police confirmed four rescues by October 25 after a building under construction collapsed on Eastleigh’s 9th Street in Nairobi on October 23. Search teams continued working at the site, according to the National Police Service statement reported by People Daily.

The Kenya Red Cross had received 47 missing-person reports by Sunday, AP reported. That is a tracing figure, rather than a confirmed count of people trapped or killed. Establishing the whereabouts of those reported missing continues alongside the physical search.

Police asked relatives seeking information to use the Red Cross desk at the scene or emergency number 1199. They also asked the public to keep access routes clear for rescuers and equipment. The cause of the structural failure remains under investigation.
